The government finally backed down and our pensions are protected. Seeing 1,488 of us refuse to accept these cuts changed everything. While this battle is won we must keep watching to ensure they keep their word.

Final supporters
We the undersigned: Recognise that the magnficent N30 strike showed the potential power of public sector workers to defeat the government. We reject Maude's latest pensions proposals which will mean all public sector workers having to work longer, pay more, and get less. We say no to secret deals by union leaders over the heads of the membership. We demand democratic control of the negotiations. We demand that the date is set for the next co-ordinated public sector strike early in the New Year. UNISON Scotland has already proposed 25 January as the date of the next strike.

Seeing this level of support confirms that we are not going to let our futures be bargained away behind closed doors. The momentum building across our sectors proves that the demand for a coordinated response is impossible to ignore.

Seeing one hundred people sign this shows I am not the only one feeling cheated by these pension proposals. My own retirement is on the line and knowing you are with me keeps me fighting.

Total disgrace what they are doing to our retirement. Stand firm everyone.
NUT member here. Why are we waiting? Let's get back out there on the 25th and shut the country down.
Keep the strikes going. They only listen when we stop working.
PCS member. Worked 30 years and now they want to move the goalposts again. Enough is enough. Set the date for Jan now!
GMB. Working til I drop isnt an option. Keep the pressure on.
